Koigu Painter's Pallet Merino (KPPM) yarns are truly hand-painted watercolors. Each dye lot is "painted" individually and then heat is applied to fix the dyes. Dye lots are rinsed and hung on rods to dry. Once dry the yarn is wound into 50g skeins, twisted and labeled.
A refreshing aspect of the Koigu palette is the fearless, bold and luminous quality captured in the colorways of every hank. Each dye lot of Koigu's Painter's Palette is an individual creation and no two dye lots are exactly the same.
